Day One: Welcome!

Welcome to Down East Wooden Boat Works!  Most recently I have finished an Arctic Explorerer, complete with all the deck details.  I love the history of this boat which made it all the more fascinating to watch it come to life 'on the bench'.   This one in particular, will bring you back to the era it had once sailed.  The Arctic Explorer made 30 trips into the arctic ice, with Capt Donald McMillan at the helm. I will share more details and post pictures of this beauty soon!

This seems to be a real stretch based on previous models? I mean don't I usually do slower vehicles?
